Chapter Seven of 10. Writer's Retreat.
Chapter Seven
A peaceful place for writers to write, reflect, focus, create and recharge, planned for the Mineral Wells, Texas area. Dates, rates and the property itself will be published here once they are confirmed.
The experience
This is not simply a place to stay. The retreat is meant to give a writer the three things that are hardest to find at home: unbroken time, quiet, and someone who knows what a manuscript needs.
That last one is the difference. ROMAR Press is a working independent publisher — a catalogue, an editor of four decades, and author coaching already in place. A stay here sits inside that, rather than beside it.
Write. Reflect. Create.
The property
A house in the Mineral Wells area, kept for writers. The details below will be filled in as they are confirmed — nothing is being described before it is real.
Details on bedrooms, living space, kitchen and parking are still to be published.

With ROMAR coaching
The stay combined with ROMAR coaching and publishing guidance — planning before you arrive, and a manuscript conversation before you leave.
Rates to be announced.
Pre-retreat coaching
A week disappears quickly when you spend the first two days deciding what to work on. Before a stay, you can sit down with the publisher and settle that in advance.
It is optional, and it is the thing that makes a retreat different from a quiet house.
A look at the retreat
The property has not been photographed yet. These frames are held for the real pictures — no stock photography stands in for the actual house.
