About the Publisher
Marilyn Robitaille earned her Ph.D. in English with a specialization in Eighteenth-Century British Literature and Rhetoric from Texas Woman's University and her Master's from the Bread Loaf School of English in Middlebury, Vermont. She has four decades of experience teaching literature and writing at the university level. She co-edited Langdon Review of the Arts in Texas and has poetry published in multiple print and online venues.

Romar Press is an independent press that falls into the general category of “hybrid publishing.” We are not a “vanity press.” This means we offer services to bridge the gap between self-publishing and agent-driven, traditional publishing. This requires some element of both author and publisher investment and collaboration.
When your book is published, ROMAR Press will help you launch your book with a book signing and publication party. You'll find that working with a book publisher like ROMAR Press has never been more rewarding.
We'll meet you where you are to customize everything you need to submit your book for publication. No two authors or projects in publishing are alike. We recognize that.
As your book publisher, we're here to collaborate with you depending on what you need: global editing, minor editing, or a little proofreading. We meet you where you are. Prices vary.
When your book's ready to publish, we take care of related publishing details like pre-press, ISBN numbers, bar codes, printing, and distribution through Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Walmart, and your local or university book stores.
Publishing with ROMAR Press requires that your work meet high standards of quality. You'll be proud of what you accomplish with our help. Your cost depends on two things: (1) the standard services you require and (2) the final retail cost of the book based on the number of pages, size, and type of cover. You will be required to purchase 50 personal copies at a 25% discount off the book's retail price. And you'll be paid royalties.

With interest growing in the publication of children’s books, it became apparent that the ROMAR Press needed to distinguish this important category and create an “imprint” specifically for children’s books.
I chose the name for one simple reason: “Nonna” is the name I’m called by my four grandchildren.
